Learning and development
At Independence Blue Cross (IBX), learning and development are a top priority. And that priority comes straight from the top.
“The continuous investment in any organization’s talent, by developing them for continued success and advancement, creates a strong foundation for that organization,” says Greg Deavens, President & CEO of Independence Health Group. “In line with that philosophy, our Learning and Development team keeps our associates at the center of everything they do to ensure that this happens in our organization. Their programs inspire people at all levels to feel empowered to take ownership of their professional development.
This is critical to our associate satisfaction and engagement while reinforcing our workforce retention efforts. The team’s focus on providing relevant, engaging, and interactive learning experiences of all kinds fosters a company culture that values both people and results. This is an important reflection of our company’s values, and key to our company’s continued growth and success.”
