Independence Blue Cross (IBX) members have access to benefits, resources, and in-network providers who specialize in treating SUD. The providers listed below are Connect to Care providers who offer specialized, convenient, and private care for substance use disorders.
Members can also use the Shatterproof Treatment Atlas tool to find an addiction treatment facility for themselves or a loved one.

Smokefree.gov provides free, accurate, evidence-based information and professional assistance to help support the immediate and long-term needs of people trying to quit smoking. In addition, IBX members can take advantage of the Healthy LifestylesSM Reimbursements and receive a $150 reimbursement for the cost of a tobacco cessation program.
Vaping
People of all ages have taken an interest in vaping in recent years. Most e-cigarettes contain nicotine, which is a highly addictive substance. Recent reports indicate that vaping is unsafe can create serious damage to the lungs. Alcohol
- Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is open to anyone affected by an alcohol-related disorder. There are no age or education requirements.
- Al-Anon is a mutual support group of peers who share their experiences in applying the Al-Anon principles to problems related to the effects of alcoholism on people in their lives. Call 1‑888‑425‑2666 for more information.

- Narcotics Anonymous is an international, community-based association that provides a recovery process and support network for those affected by substance abuse disorders.
